BOYS IN DANCE
Here at Mavlow School of Dance, we fully support Boys who want to dance, and we welcome them into our classes. Unfortunately, there has always been a stereotype when it comes to Boys and dancing, but we are eager to prove that times have changed and it’s perfectly acceptable for boys to dance. In fact, there are many benefits for boys who dance:
The syllabi we cover in RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern Jazz & Tap are also tailored to suit boys, with differentiation within exercises, and in some cases separate exercises altogether, especially within the Modern syllabus. This is to help boys build up the extra strength required for a potential career in dance.
